This Privacy Policy explains how Zorynex ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information about you when you use our websites, apps and services (together, the "Services"). Zorynex is the AI-native career and hiring platform that connects candidates, recruiters and companies.

We are committed to data minimisation, transparency and giving you meaningful control. By using the Services you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you use the Services:

Account data

Name, email, password hash, role (candidate, recruiter, company) and settings.

Profile & resume data

Work history, education, skills, portfolio links and uploaded documents you choose to add.

Application data

Jobs you view, save and apply to, plus messages exchanged with employers.

Usage data

Pages visited, features used, device, browser and approximate location derived from your IP.

AI inputs

Prompts, resume text and context you submit to AI features such as matching and the career coach.

Payment data

Billing details processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

We use personal data to operate, improve and secure the Services, including to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• Match candidates to roles and rank shortlists using our AI models.
• Power features such as the resume builder, career coach and interview prep.
• Communicate with you about applications, products and security.
• Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process data on the bases of contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (to improve and secure them), consent (for optional cookies and marketing) and legal obligation. Learn more on our GDPR Compliance page.

Some features use AI to analyse your inputs — for example, parsing a resume, scoring it against a role or generating coaching suggestions. These outputs are decision-support tools; a human is responsible for hiring decisions, and we do not make legally significant decisions about you by solely automated means.

We do not use the content you submit to AI features to train third-party foundation models, and we apply access controls so your AI inputs are used only to deliver the feature you requested.

We share personal data only in the following circumstances, and never sell it:

• With employers — when you apply to or message a role, the recruiter receives your application and profile.
• With service providers — hosting, analytics, email, payment and AI infrastructure vendors bound by data-processing agreements.
• For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety and property.
• In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition or financing, subject to this policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics and (with your consent) marketing. You can manage non-essential cookies at any time.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out here — typically for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterwards to meet legal, tax, security and dispute-resolution needs. When data is no longer required we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it. You can request earlier deletion of your account data at any time.

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, monitoring and regular review of our controls.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (the right to be forgotten).

• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in-product or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
